GUANGZHOU, China — Based on the increase number of visitors in 2021 over the 2019 show, the 49th CIFF Guangzhou 2022 is set to continue that momentum in this year’s “Design trend, global trade, full supply chain” themed event.

The China International Furniture Fair, held at the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou, will run in two phases: The March 18-21 part will be dedicated to home furnishings, home decor, home textiles, outdoor furniture and leisure furniture; the March 28-31 session will feature office furniture, commercial and healthcare furniture, and materials and machinery for the furniture industry.

The event venue offers 750,000 meters of exhibition space and is expected to showcase more than 4,000 companies and bring in more than 350,000 trade visitors.

During the first phase of the show, the “Design Spring” CIFF Contemporary Chinese Furniture Design Fair will expand from two to three halls, bringing together Chinese brands, artists and designers. The first phase will also include Homedecor & Hometextile, focusing on home accessories, and Outdoor & Leisure, covering the gamut of outdoor home furnishings.

During the second phase, the Office Show will focus on new types of workspace, public and commercial spaces, including solutions for the smart office, furniture for medical care and the needs of the elderly, and furnishings for schools, hotels, and commercial spaces.

Concurrently, CIFM/interzum Guangzhou 2022, a leading Asian trade fair dedicated to furniture industry technologies, will host the top Chinese and international brands, presenting the latest innovations, machinery, materials, surfaces and components for furniture.

During the two phases of CIFF 2022, market attendees can access a range of design exhibitors, seminars and conferences, including the CMF Trend Lab and the 2030+ International Future Office.

Turning its focus on the international trade, CIFF will offer the Overseas Procurement Circle to further develop the network of more than 200 world markets to offer business opportunities for export. To meet the new demands and trends in international trade, a Cross-Border E-Commerce Zone will be created, providing product and material search services, discussion forums, matchmaking opportunities, and solutions and tools for globalizing the furniture trade.
